The Brick Room is named for the exposed 'Boyd Town' bricks made locally for the Crown & Anchor Inn which is one of the few buildings that still have these original 1845 bricks in evidence. The walls are all 'triple brick' construction without an internal cavity. This room was probably the original Tap Room and retains an open fire place (which is no longer used) and the entrance to the ensuite, which contains a small bath with shower over, is cleverly concealed behind the mirror in the corner. Original artworks and period curios in the room provide an interesting authenticity. The room also holds an antique brass and iron bed and period furnishings. This room looks into a small courtyard and is very quiet.
